We Are Dying In Silence - Public Outcry Over Alleged Negligence At FMC Keffi
Nigeria, July 21 -- Concerned citizens have raised alarm over alleged cases of negligence and unprofessional conduct at the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Keffi, calling on the Federal Ministry of Health to intervene.
In a Facebook post that has gone viral, Zakariyya Zamola Keffi described the hospital as a "dead zone and a house of tears," alleging that patients are dying under questionable circumstances.
The post cited the recent death of 20-year-old Abdulrahman Abdullahi, a final-year Computer Science student of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, who was admitted into the Orthopaedic Surgical Unit and did not survive.
