Nigeria, June 6 -- A roadside bean cake (akara) vendor has been arrested in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State following allegations that she mixed human feces into the batter used for preparing food sold to members of the public. According to reports from the area, the incident occurred along Ani Road on the Ikom-Obudu highway after some customers reportedly became suspicious of the vendor's food preparation practices.
