US Reacts to Kaduna Massacre, Urges Nigerian Govt to End Violence Against Christians
Nigeria, Aug. 1 -- The condemnation was contained in a statement posted on X by the US Bureau of African Affairs and obtained by The News Chronicle on Saturday.
The bureau expressed sympathy to the families of those killed in the early morning attack, which reportedly occurred on July 27.
"The United States condemns the early morning July 27 attack on a village in Nigeria's Kaduna State that reportedly killed at least 30 people, including children," the statement read.
It also conveyed condolences to the bereaved families, saying, "We express our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the deceased."
