Nigeria, July 8 -- According to claims circulating on social media, the lecturer allegedly refused to approve the student's project unless she agreed to have a sexual relationship with him.

The reports further alleged that the student informed her husband about the lecturer's demand, after which the couple devised a plan. The woman reportedly agreed to meet the lecturer and accompanied him to a hotel.

It was claimed that shortly after they entered the hotel room, the husband and several others confronted the lecturer, allegedly locking him inside before apprehending him.
