Nigeria, Jan. 23 -- The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has convened the inaugural meeting of its newly inaugurated Board, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Nigeria's drive toward quality, inclusive, and accessible basic education for all children.
The Board is chaired by Senator Al-Makura, with Dr. Aisha Garuba serving as Secretary. Other members of the Board are eminent Nigerians drawn from diverse backgrounds in education and public service, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to support UBEC's mandate and enhance institutional governance.
