Nigeria, Oct. 30 -- Troops of the Nigerian military's Joint Task Force, North East, Operation HADIN KAI, have killed 48 terrorists and foiled coordinated attacks on military formations in Borno and Yobe states.

The Acting Media Information Officer, Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, Captain Mohammed Goni, disclosed the developments in a statement made available to The News Chronicle on Friday.

The attacks targeted military positions in Bitta, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, and the North East Theatre Training School (NETTS), Buni Yadi, Gujba LGA of Yobe State, between October 29 and 30, 2026.
