Nigeria, June 12 -- In a precision intelligence-led operation in Magumeri, Borno State, the troops arrested five suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate accused of terrorising civilians along a known criminal corridor.

According to a statement, security forces also recovered two AK-47 rifles, magazines, and ammunition during the raid, effectively disrupting the group's operational capability and cutting off access to weapons used for attacks and abductions.
