Nigeria, Oct. 17 -- Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has not commented directly on a leaked phone recording in which a fan insults fellow actress Funke Akindele.

The recording lasts 11 minutes and 42 seconds and began circulating on social media on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. It reportedly captures a call between Abraham and a TikTok user known as Bisgold. Most of it is in Yoruba and pidgin English. Bisgold repeatedly insults Funke Akindele. Abraham reportedly laughs and does not caution her. The call also mentions actress Iyabo Ojo and actors Itele and Kemity.

Neither Toyin Abraham nor Funke Akindele has confirmed the recording is authentic. Representatives for both actresses have not commented.
