Nigeria, Sept. 27 -- Kano is set to witness two separate royal processions on Sunday, September 27, 2026, as the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, and the 15th Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero, are expected to hold separate traditional activities within the city. Sanusi II is scheduled to lead the Hawan Babban Daki from his palace, Gidan Tunda. His procession is expected to pass through Kofar Kwaru and Mandawari before proceeding towards Galadanci later in the evening. Meanwhile, Aminu Ado Bayero is expected to leave his palace for his residence in Mandawari.
