Nigeria, June 8 -- The single debuted on Friday and quickly became the biggest soundtrack single debut in Apple Music history. It also became the most-streamed country song in a single day by a female artist on Spotify.

Apple Music also recognized the track as its biggest country single of 2026 based on first-day streams, while Amazon Music reported that it recorded the largest global first-day streaming debut of any song on the service this year.

Swift described the project as a return to familiar musical territory, saying, "Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time."
