Nigeria, April 1 -- Jordan started brightly and took the lead through Mousa Tamari after sustained early pressure. Nigeria thought they had responded quickly, but a goal from Raphael Onyedika was ruled out, adding to the early frustration.

The equalizer eventually came through Moses Simon, who reacted sharply to finish from close range and continue his fine form.



Debutant Emmanuel Fernandez then put Nigeria ahead before the break, capping an impressive first appearance with a composed finish. The second half, however, saw momentum shift as Jordan pressed for a response and found a deserved equalizer late in the game.
