Nigeria, Oct. 9 -- Former Director-General of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign in the 2023 general elections, Akin Osuntokun, has said President Bola Tinubu has been able to maintain a degree of macroeconomic stability despite the challenges associated with his administration's economic reforms.

Osuntokun made the remarks during an interview on Conversations with Prof. Jideofor Adibe, where he defended the Federal Government's reforms in the oil sector, arguing that Nigeria would eventually have to confront the economic realities underpinning the policies.

According to him, the reforms are necessary for the country's long-term macroeconomic stability, despite the immediate difficulties they may impose on Nigerians.
