Nigeria, May 23 -- Nigeria has taken another step toward improving product standards and global competitiveness following a new partnership between the Standards Organisation of Nigeria and the Nigeria National Accreditation System. Both agencies officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening the country's quality infrastructure and conformity assessment processes.



The News Chronicle reports that the deal came after strategic meetings between SON Director General Dr Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke and NiNAS Director General Celestine Okanya together with high-ranking officials from both organizations.
