Nigeria, June 26 -- Buchi shared his views in a video posted on his Instagram page on Friday morning, a day after Peller and his partner, Jarvis, publicly responded to Ycee's remarks.

Ycee had said during an appearance on the Afropolitan Podcast that Nigerian society was losing its respect for education and intellect, describing it as an "olodo uprising" linked to what he called "Peller culture."

Reacting to the comment, Buchi agreed with Ycee's central argument but said the blame should not fall solely on Peller.

"Everything he said is so on point, but the thing is that Peller is not the cause. Peller is a symptom; he's also a victim of the old institutions in Nigeria," Buchi said.
