Nigeria, July 22 -- The House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee investigating the alleged Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, PFIPC, has summoned the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, to appear before it. Chairman of the committee, Representative Yusuf Mikhail Adamu, said the invitation became necessary following a statement by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs distancing the Federal Government from the council and declaring that its purported Director-General is not recognised. According to Adamu, the committee is determined to uncover the truth surrounding the operations of the alleged council and ascertain whether it had any official approval.
