Nigeria, July 26 -- In a statement signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka and made available to The News Chronicle, the APC said the campaign council would be chaired by Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors' Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

The council's co-chairmen are Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, will serve as Deputy Chairman, while Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin has been named Secretary.
