Nigeria, Aug. 18 -- Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, is battling stage 4 cancer, with his children appealing for urgent medical assistance as his condition worsens.

His daughter, Shaki Taiwo, made the appeal in a video shared on her Instagram account, @kira_taiwo, on Monday night.

Shaki said the actor's treatment had been stopped after his condition deteriorated, adding that chemotherapy was no longer an option.
