Nigeria, July 14 -- The delegation was led by the newly confirmed US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Frank Garcia, who is making his first official visit to Nigeria since assuming office earlier this year.

Ribadu said the meeting reviewed the progress of the Nigeria-US Joint Working Group and explored ways to deepen the long-standing security partnership between both countries.
