Nollywood Stars, Filmmakers Set for Canada's 2026 Black Film Festival
Nigeria, June 24 -- The Festival Director and President of WIBFF, Dr. Queen Eghujovbo, disclosed this during a media conference on Wednesday in Enugu.
WIBFF is an annual film festival and non-profit organisation founded by Eghujovbo to provide a supportive platform for Black filmmakers to showcase their stories without the pressures of competing against larger productions.
The festival also serves as a global platform for Black voices to share their cultures, experiences and perspectives with international audiences.
Represented by one of the festival's coordinators, Prince Alexander Nwokeabia, Eghujovbo said the 2026 edition, scheduled for Aug. 13 to Aug. 16, would feature the Nollywood Micro Section and The Actors Market Place (TAMP...
