Nigeria, Feb. 2 -- According to the daily weather outlook issued on Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Northern States will experience sunny atmospheric conditions throughout the day.

NiMet noted that clear skies are anticipated in the morning, with sunny conditions persisting into the afternoon and evening hours across the region.

In the Central States, NiMet predicted a mix of cloud cover and hazy conditions. The morning hours are expected to be characterised by few patches of clouds with haze across the North Central zone.

As the day progresses, cloudy skies and hazy atmosphere are likely to dominate, with slim chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of southern Kwara State during the afternoon and evening period.
