Nigeria, Sept. 22 -- The Director-General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Prof. Charles Anosike, joined global meteorological leaders in Beijing, China, for the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) High-Level Dialogue on Climate Science Information for Climate Finance and the 53rd Senior Official Field Exchange (SOFE).

The high-level international gathering, held from September 14 to 18, 2026, brought together key stakeholders to address pressing global challenges relating to climate resilience, resource mobilisation and advanced disaster risk reduction strategies.
