Nigeria, Feb. 24 -- The agreement signals a renewed commitment by both institutions to deepen collaboration in professional training, capacity development, and improved service delivery within Nigeria's aviation and meteorological sectors.

Under the terms of the MoU, the two institutions will collaborate in the utilization of training facilities, provide advisory support for aviation training programmes, and deliver specialized long and short term courses tailored for NiMet personnel. The partnership also includes staff exchange programmes, joint training initiatives, and the use of NiMet's Training School in Oshodi, Lagos, to conduct International Civil Aviation Organization compliant aviation training.
