Nigeria, Oct. 12 -- Nigeria's Ambassador to Denmark, Lola Akande, has reaffirmed the country's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Denmark.

Akande gave the assurance in a statement on Sunday after presenting her Letters of Credence to King Frederik X of Denmark, emphasizing the need to expand cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.

She identified climate action, peace and security, and sustainable development as major pillars for deepening relations between both countries.

The ambassador also highlighted Nigeria's strategic interest in its partnership with Denmark, expressing the country's readiness to work closely with the Danish government, private sector and other stakeholders to broaden bilateral cooperation....
