Nigeria, April 26 -- The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has provided relief materials to communities affected by windstorm and flooding in Kaba Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency of Kogi State.
The intervention followed the approval of NEMA's Director General, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, who authorized the release of essential items to support victims of the disaster.
A four-member team from the agency's Abuja Operations Office was deployed to oversee the exercise, ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to standard procedures.
The distribution took place on April 25, 2026, at Ekinrin Adde Community in Ijumu Local Government Area.
