NDLEA Raids Lekki Drug Mansion, Seizes 2,326kg Cannabis Worth N5.8bn
Nigeria, May 10 -- The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested three persons with disabilities for alleged drug trafficking in separate operations across Anambra and Kwara states, while also uncovering a N5.8 billion stash of illicit drugs in Lekki, Lagos.
The agency disclosed that a 60-year-old suspect, Romanus Nwabara, was among those arrested during intelligence-led operations. NDLEA operatives tracked him to Akpaka Forest in Onitsha, Anambra State, on May 6, where he was allegedly found in possession of 250 grams of skunk packaged in retail sachets.
