Local Refineries Secure 53.7 Million Barrels of Crude in Q2 2026
Nigeria, Aug. 11 -- The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission disclosed this in its second quarter report on DCSO implementation under the Petroleum Industry Act.
Crude supply exceeded allocations in April and June but fell short in May, highlighting differences between volumes offered by producers and those ultimately accepted by refiners.
In April, refiners received 20.88 million barrels against an allocation of 18.13 million barrels. May recorded 14.23 million barrels from an 18.78 million barrel allocation, while June deliveries reached 18.61 million barrels against 18.17 million barrels allocated.
