Kebbi Raises Alarm Over Emergence of New Terrorists Group 'Sai Mallam' in Argungu
Nigeria, June 25 -- The State Security Adviser, retired Colonel Danladi Ribah, disclosed this during a stakeholders' security meeting with the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the North-West geopolitical zone, Suleiman Mohammed Abdul, held at the Presidential Lodge in Birnin Kebbi.
Ribah revealed that the group was first detected in smaller numbers in Zuru before its presence became more pronounced in Argungu.
"Without an iota of doubt, 'Sai Mallam' adherents are present in large numbers in Argungu. They were earlier detected in Zuru, though in smaller numbers," he said.
