JUST IN: Shettima Departs Abuja for Angola to Represent Tinubu at AU Summit
Nigeria, Aug. 29 -- Vice President Kashim Shettima on Saturday departed Abuja for Luanda, Angola, where he will represent President Bola Tinubu at the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, disclosed this in a statement obtained by The News Chronicle.
According to Nkwocha, the high-level summit will focus on strategies for conflict resolution and efforts to promote lasting peace and stability across Africa.
