Nigeria, July 13 -- The News Chronicle reports that Fayose questioned why entertainers such as Davido, Burna Boy and Asake were being urged to shoulder the responsibility of supporting struggling Nigerians while elected officials control public resources.

Reacting to the First Lady's comments, Fayose said, "When governors are with their money, why can't APC state governors set aside N500 million every month to support poor people in their various states?"

He also accused political leaders of misplaced priorities, adding, "Why instruct them to buy jeeps for APC women leaders when people are poor in their various states?"
