Isaac Fayose Demands Probe Into Gbajabiamila Amid Presidency Appointment Controversy
Nigeria, July 3 -- The News Chronicle reports that Adeyemi, who was accused of creating false government appointment letters and posing as the Director General of the supposed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and the Presidential Economic Advisory Council, asserted he was being silenced.
He also claimed that Gbajabiamila received N400 million through a proxy, then asked for another N200 million to help secure his appointment. Still, the Presidency has flatly denied the claims, claiming Gbajabiamila neither sends appointment letters nor has the power to appoint.
