Nigeria, March 4 -- In an official statement, the Ministry of Defence disclosed that two ballistic missiles were fired from Iranian territory toward Qatar.

"Air defense systems successfully intercepted one of the missiles, while the second missile struck Al-Udeid Qatari Base without causing any casualties."

While authorities confirmed the impact, they withheld details regarding the precise location of the strike within the base or the extent of structural damage.

The Al-Udeid facility, situated on the outskirts of Doha, serves not only U.S. forces but also Qatari and British military personnel. The installation is widely regarded as a strategic nerve centre for American military activities across the region.
