Nigeria, May 10 -- Eligible voters in Ondo State have been urged not to sit on the fence as the third phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise swings into motion across the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the appeal ahead of the commencement of the exercise scheduled for Monday, May 11, describing it as another golden window for fresh registrations and updates of voter records.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Akure by the Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Mr Olayinka Ogunseye, on behalf of the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mr Mutiu Olaleke Agboke, the commission said the exercise would feature both online pre-registration and physical registration nationwide.
