Nigeria, Nov. 5 -- The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that he will never support Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for the position of Senate President.

Wike made the declaration on Thursday during a media chat with selected journalists in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The minister spoke about his political disagreement with Uzodimma and his recent political understanding with former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.

He recalled supporting Uzodimma's re-election bid in 2023 against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Sam Anyanwu, despite Anyanwu being a member of his party at the time.
