Nigeria, March 23 -- Speaking on Sunday during a meeting with African Democratic Congress stakeholders in Kaduna, Obi noted that the short distance between Abuja and Kaduna makes it easy for a president to carry out official duties from either city. He said the journey takes less than two hours and would not affect governance.
The former Labour Party presidential candidate described his visit as part of ongoing nationwide consultations to engage political leaders and assess the mood ahead of future elections.
He commended stakeholders in Kaduna for their commitment, saying their focus was on service rather than personal ambition.
