Nigeria, May 9 -- The presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, on Friday met with former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Abuja to discuss the state of the nation and prospects for Nigeria's 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held behind closed doors, brought together two longtime associates who previously worked together in public service.
During Jonathan's time as Vice President, Hayatu-Deen served on the National Council on Privatization and chaired the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). He also later served on the Presidential Advisory Committee during Jonathan's administration.
