Nigeria, July 11 -- The National Alliance for Democratic (NAD) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure that the ongoing reform of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) preserves the scheme's original mandate of promoting national unity and integration. In a statement obtained by The News Chronicle on Friday, the group's National Convener, Dr. Lucky Eremosele, said while reforms aimed at modernising the NYSC were welcome, they must not undermine its core objective of fostering national cohesion.
