Nigeria, April 24 -- The incident occurred on Friday at the Angwan Yelwa pitch in the Television area of Kaduna. Eneramo, who featured as a second-half substitute, reportedly collapsed suddenly without any contact from other players.

Eyewitnesses said attempts were made to revive him immediately after he slumped on the pitch, but all efforts proved unsuccessful. He was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Eneramo, a former Nigerian international, had a notable career with the Super Eagles before retiring from professional football. After retirement, he devoted his time to mentoring young players through his football academy.
