Nigeria, March 4 -- He made the commendations in Jalingo on Wednesday while interacting with journalists, congratulated the newly elected executives of the party, and urged them to work to ensure unity, justice, and fairness in the party.

He noted that though there were some minor challenges in some areas, the relatively peaceful conduct of the congresses from the ward level through to the State level is commendable and shows that the ship of the party is steered by an experienced captain.
