Nigeria, March 4 -- The former state chairman of the People's Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, has been affirmed as the new State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his recent resignation from the PDP.

The new Exco was elected during a party congress held on Tuesday in Jalingo, the state capital, attended by the Governor.

The party also elected Hon. Andeta'rang Irammae as the State Publicity Secretary.

In his remarks, Governor Dr Abgu Kefas congratulated the newly elected executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Taraba State chapter, on their emergence.
