Nigeria, Aug. 20 -- The Federal Government says it will deliver and commission thousands of housing units across Abuja, Lagos and other parts of the country between August and December.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Darma, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja during the groundbreaking ceremony of a 250-unit Renewed Hope Civil Servants Estate.

Darma said the ministry would deliver 122 rent-to-own housing units to beneficiaries before the end of August, followed by additional projects in September, October and December.
