Nigeria, Aug. 31 -- Musa gave the assurance during an interaction with members of the Nigerian community in Angola on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Luanda.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Media, Leah Katung-Babatunde, Musa said the government was committed to creating a secure environment that would enable Nigerians in the diaspora to visit their homeland without fear.

The meeting, attended by members of the Nigerian delegation to the AU summit, also provided an opportunity for government representatives to hear the concerns of the diaspora community and provide immediate feedback.
