FCT Motorists Groan as Petrol Price Climbs to N1,350/Litre
Nigeria, Aug. 31 -- Global oil prices also rose on Monday, with Brent crude trading at about 90.35 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at about 85.35 per barrel.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Dangote Refinery increased its gantry, or ex-depot, price from N1,165 per litre to N1,185, before raising it further to N1,200 and N1,265 per litre within the past week.
Research on Monday showed that several filling stations across the FCT had raised their pump prices.
Eterna filling station sold petrol at N1,320 per litre, Gegu Oil at N1,310, while Salbas Oil sold at N1,330 per litre.
Other outlets, including Nipco and AY Shafa, sold the product at N1,350 per litre, while TotalEnergies sold at N1,280 per litre....
