Nigeria, May 4 -- Fayose claimed in a popular social media video that the movement around Obi is fueling an unprecedented surge in party registration numbers.

While also asserting major membership losses for older parties, he said that millions of Nigerians had enrolled in the days, therefore positioning the NDC as one of the fastest-growing political platforms on the continent.
