Nigeria, Sept. 23 -- The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) says travellers arriving from countries with active or relevant Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) transmission may be required to complete Health Declaration Forms as part of enhanced surveillance measures.

The agency disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying the advisory followed the evolving epidemiological situation surrounding the ongoing EVD outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The NCDC said Nigeria was reviewing its public health measures based on dynamic risk assessments and consultations with relevant stakeholders.
