DMO Raises N5.86 Billion From August Savings Bonds
Nigeria, Aug. 14 -- The Debt Management Office (DMO) raised N5.86 billion through the Federal Government of Nigeria Savings Bond in August 2026, although the amount was N330 million lower than the N6.19 billion recorded in July.
The August offer, which ran from August 3 to 7, comprised two year and three year bonds with interest rates of 13.963 per cent and 14.963 per cent respectively. Settlement was completed on August 12.
The two year bond attracted 1,295 subscriptions and raised N1.318 billion, while the three year instrument recorded 2,882 subscriptions and generated N4.545 billion.
