Nigeria, Sept. 1 -- The Delta State Government has directed the Ministries of Primary and Secondary Education to immediately identify and profile schools across the state that require rehabilitation or complete reconstruction.

The Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this on Monday while briefing journalists in Asaba.

Aniagwu said the directive was among the decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting, presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, at the Government House, Asaba.

He said the government planned to commence large-scale rehabilitation and reconstruction of primary and secondary school facilities in September.
