Nigeria, Sept. 30 -- Dangote Projects Ltd, the construction division of Dangote Industries Limited, has announced that it has a fleet of nearly 7,000 construction equipment, making it one of the world's largest construction equipment owners.

The Group Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, Edwin Devakumar, revealed this while the Kenyan President, William Ruto, was touring the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Lagos.

Devakumar said Dangote initially acquired 2,563 construction machines, including 320 cranes, for the refinery project. Dangote Projects Expands Fleet To Nearly 7,000 Machines. More than 4,000 additional machines were later purchased as the company expanded its refinery and fertiliser operations.
