Nigeria, Jan. 14 -- The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adamawa/Taraba Area Command, has intercepted a total of 50,495 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), valued at N58,117,550, being transported in 1,868 jerry cans for suspected illegal exportation.
Area Comptroller Mohammed Tako disclosed this during a press briefing on Tuesday in Yola. He added that officers also seized 10 bales and two sacks of second-hand clothing along the Mubi-Sahuda axis.
According to Mr. Tako, the seizures were carried out under intelligence-led operations across different locations within the command's area of responsibility.
