Nigeria, Aug. 20 -- Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is set to end his long association with the club after Inter Milan agreed a £30 million deal to sign the England international.

Jones joined Liverpool at the age of 9 and spent 16 years at the club, working his way up the youth ranks before making his debut during the 2018/19 season.

The News Chronicle reports that the 25-year-old made 228 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals in all competitions.

His departure brings an end to an era for the Reds, who have been delighted to see their former academy graduate blossom into a world-class centre-back.
