Nigeria, June 5 -- Justice D.I. Dipeolu fixed June 9, 2026, for ruling after hearing submissions from the defense and prosecution.

Obtaining money by false pretense Stealing The EFCC alleges she obtained 36,000,000 from a complainant between July 14 and July 17, 2024, under the claim of arranging a six-bedroom duplex for rent in Lekki, Lagos State.

The prosecution maintained that the matter is a criminal case and should proceed despite any appeal for repayment.
